Program Memorial Day 2011
The program for this memorial ceremony is as follows:
| 10 am | Eucharist service at the cemetery. The service will be led by the Deputy Bishop Monseigneur E. de Jong, while the music will be performed by the Mergelland Male Choir with tenor Hubert Delamboye. |
| 3 pm | Memorial service with speeches and the placing of wreaths. This ceremony will be musically supported as well. The service will be rounded-off with a fly-by of fighter jets of the American and Dutch Air Forces. |
Both the Eucharist service and the memorial service are freely accessible. The flowers that are laid down by adopters in front of the bright white crosses on the meticulously kept lawn will create a very special atmosphere on this very special day. It is well worth coming back to make a promenade round the cemetery on the Monday or Tuesday after Memorial Day.
